Kirchenbücher of Kirchgemeinde Grosshöchstetten include the records of the Gemeinden Bowil, Grosshöchstetten, Mirchel, Oberthal, and Zäziwil. Staatsarchiv Bern has duplicated all 30 Kirchenbücher on rolls of microfilm. It is these rolls of microfilm which, with the assistance
of Staatsarchiv des Kantons Bern, we have digitized here on CD-Rom in easy to use PDF format. These CDs have the Adobe abilities to enlarge the images, etc., but the CDs are not printable. However, printed copies of individual pages are available for those who have purchased CDs at a cost of $2.50 per page plus p&h.
