Kantons Bern, which also owns the copyright to all of them. The 19
Kirchenbücher of Kirchgemeinde Pieterlen include the records of the Gemeinden Meinisberg and Pieterlen. The Gemeinde Pieterlen Taufregister 1816-1841 is in Kirchgemeinde Vauffelin KB 7. Staatsarchiv Bern has duplicated all 19 Kirchenbücher on 5 rolls
of microfilm. It is these 5 rolls of microfilm which, with the assistance
of Staatsarchiv des Kantons Bern, we have digitized here on CD-Rom in easy to use PDF format. These CDs have the Adobe abilities to enlarge the images, etc., but the CDs are not printable.
